I am sorry if there is already another thread on this but I am in love with Brandon Bass right now.
13 points, 6-8fg, 3 rebs in 26 minutes tonight, another solid outing from the emerging big. He is a great athlete with a good mid range jumper, and a versatile player to boot.
The guy is still only 22 years old, not to mention he is the most handsome and muscular guy on our team. No homo. I can see him doing great things for the Mavs in the future. If only Avery would give him some more minutes.

Bass has played great in April. I hope he can keep up this intensity because he has been very impressive as of late.

I am a Bass fan and I credit JES12 for saying how good he would be before the season. He also said Diop-Diop was the next Ben Wallace too, but regardless he called out the greatness of Bass and I give him credit...

Bass, next to Dwight Howard, probably has the best looking upper body in the league. They're built like a tank.

I'm not the only one that liked Bass. Oh, and Diop > Wallace

You were the loudest. I knew you'd say that about Diop, hope he returns in the offseason. We could find a way to pay him what he's due.

I guess you know me well if you knew I would say that.

But I was also the first one to question his passing ability and his tunnel vision. He is not that bad anymore.

3rd and he has 12 points. Someone has to be the horse off the bench!

He is so consistent right now, improving post-up game, no more tunnel vision (first touch of the game a nice assist to J-Ho if i remember correctly), and he seems a lot smarter now, not forcing anything. There were comparisons between him and Elton Brand... Fans said it, okay maybe just one.

But it wasn't that crazy. I'm not saying that's legit now, and he has a chance to reach Brand's overall level, because i think he'll never be that kind of defensive presence, but on the other hand i really think he could be a very good (not great) offensive player, like Brand. In short stretches he is already unguardable.
Why he played only 16 minutes tonight? I know, Damp had to be out there in the crunch, and i agree with you, Avery finally playing him (35 minutes tonight) but Avery also has to find more minutes for Brandon when he can take whatever he wants like he did tonight. And he was very solid on defense too, so why not playing him more? Maybe it wouldnt' even come down to the last posession if he got the chance. Anyway, we won, so it really doesn't matter. Keep it up Brandon!

14 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, steal and a block in only 16 minutes against Utah tonight. Outstanding.

Juwan Howard, 0 pts, 2 reb, 0 stls, 0 blks in 10 min.
Well, there is 10 min Bass could have had.
I'm telling ya, playoff times needs to be Damp 30 min, Dirk 38 min, Bass 28 min for our front court rotation. I do not want to see Juwan or Allen in the playoffs.
