What's Wrong With Josh Howard?: Behind the Numbers

The part about Josh only shooting under 26% in one game all season is pretty interesting (haven't verified that, though). And the author's actually right about one other thing: Josh has been a pretty consistent scorer (percentage-wise) all season. In fact, I ran some standard deviation numbers for our top scorers this season, and found that Josh's FG% deviated the LEAST from game to game. That's consistency.
FYI, the FG% rankings were (in descending order): Josh, Dirk, JET, Stack, Harris, Kidd.
Anyway, for a guy who's not a focal point of the defense, this collapse is pretty much unprecedented (for the Mavs).
