^ a pretty good read about avery and his fall to now.

So the question is simple, if avery is gone, who do you want coming in?

p.s. i know some of the people on the poll are still employed, but they are all rumored to be possibly fired

JVG for me.
He'd be great for our defense plus he knows he's useless for offense thus would give the ball in Kidds hands.

Krzyzewski or Tomjanovich. Del Harris or Donnie Nelson would be pretty cool too

Rick Carlisle is easily the most underrated coach in the league. He turned Detroit around, pre-Rip, pre-Billups, when Jerry Stackhouse was their "franchise" player. He then went to Indy and gave us a 13 win improvement, despite the fact that we lost All-Star Brad Miller that offseason.

I'd argue that no one in the league gets more out of his talent than Rick Carlisle.

id say carlisle, but he might be similar to avery, especially in the sense that he grinds on players after a few years. i wouldve liked larry brown but he shouldve waited 2 days

eddie jordans an interesting option, not sure how washington fans view him but he's done a good job i thought the past 2 years despite having numerous injuries from his star players gilbert, caron butler and jamison

Bring in Holger!

Imagine the whole team training like Dirk does in the summer.
Sure, without JHoward as he will be busy in the offseason...

I gave Mario Elle my vote just to show him some love. I'm very curious to see what can he does as a head coach, but I don't exactly support Mark Cuban handing him the keys to our team, because we need someone who's more experienced. However, Mark should consider giving Mario an interview and go from there.

Unfortunately, I don't think it'll matter without major roster changes.

I dont expect him too... Im just saying it would be nice. I have a sick-to-my-stomach feeling that Cuban will bring Pat Riley in. Ugh.

because coaching kobe is like babysitting a spoiled brat...

a couple of losses and be ready for some trade requests and he's gonna be ready to jump ship to another city..

grant his wishes, and he'll shut up and play...

I want a coach who coaches the talent, not a system, i.e. will tell Kidd to run the ball and don't look back. Dallas knows that they need defense to win, but with our talent we must run.

D'antoni whines so much it makes me sick to my stomach. He could be coaching heaven's team in a heaven vs hell game and I would start rooting for hell eventually with the way he whines. I want my coach to go "it's alright they can call crap fouls, flop all across South America, and have every game reffed by Benito Salvatore and we'll still kick their ass men let's go, no excuses."

From what I gather, Cuban is all for the running game so the next coach will surely be that style, just not all-out like Nelson was.
