Dallas Trades: Josh Howard, Jerry Stackhouse
Milwaukee Trades: Charlie V, Desmond Mason, Dan Gadzuric, 2008 1st lottery pick
Dallas:
Kidd/Rose or Bayless
Terry/Mason/Jones
Charlie V/Wright
Dirk/Bass
Damp/Gadzuric
We get athletic defender in mason, budding scorer in Charlie V, servicable back-up big in Gadzuric, plus, hopefully our pg of the future one more time.
Milwaukee:
Williams/Sessions
Redd/Stack/Bell
J-Ho/Simmons
Yi/FA
Bogut/Ruffin/FA
Thoughts??

This move is basically like, well we want to start rebuilding and get young talent but we also want to remain competitive. That doesn work 90% of the time.
And our perimeter defense with Terry, Charlie V and Dirk in the lineup would suck ass.

You could start mason and have terry be 6th man again. Mason is an excellent defender.
The reason I like this trade is because I really think Charlie V is about to take off if he can stay healthy. Look at his numbers at the end of last year. He's the kind of inside-out scorer Dirk needs to complement him. I think the bucks look at it because Redd's window to win isn't very long.

I think its a pretty good trade, but if that draft pick is high enough to land rose or bayless then I think the Bucks would be asking for more.

Exactly. But if they are cool with it, where do I sign?

Don't like it. The #7 pick won't be anyone who can make a significant difference this year, and we can't afford to waste any more of Dirk's prime. Howard should be traded for an established player.

Don't like the trade at all. I'd trade anybody on our team with the exception of Bogut, Yi, Sessions, and our draft pick. How about a trade with the main pieces being Redd going to Dallas and Howard going to Milwaukee?

Straight up? I think it would be a good deal for Dallas, but they should look to trade for Artest or another SF to replace Josh... I dont trust Stackhouse.

Eric Gordon, Kevin Love (even though I think he will be a bust), OJ Mayo, Anthony Randolph, Chase Budinger, Chris Douglas-Roberts, DJ Augustin, Brandon Rush, and Darren Collsion (is he still coming out?) could all play significant minutes for this team.
There are still some good players who will be able to contribute and this team needs to get younger anyways.
