i was very impressed with carlisle after hearing the interview. its like randy said at the end, if thats how he answered cuban and donnie questions you can't blame them for hiring him. this made me feel a lot better about next season.

This is the first time I've heard Galloway speak and man, how old is this guy? He's probably had this radio show since the Carter administration.

I have never seen this hiring as a "sexy" pick so it was hard to get excited about it. However listening to this interview got me a little pumped. Carlise talked the talk and hopefully he will be a breath of fresh air for a stagnant franchise.

I also have to give Randy some credit. He pointed out what I have been saying since Kidd got here. Kidd's presence elevated and brought back Dirk's game.

I don't know about the whole Dirk situation, to me he's been VERY solid the entire past two season (with the exception of last post-season). Although Dirk's consistency went up when Mr. Kidd got here, that's partially due to the fact that Avery was tinkering with line-ups the whole year, and remember that he wanted Dirk to be more of a distributor, he was averaging 16 or 18 ppg, then it SKY-ROCKETED midway through the season, I like to think of that as a priority change, "Okay Dirk, score some more for us." There's a profound difference in Dirk's scoring in the first part of this season compared to the second half, and Kidd just solidified and as I stated earlier, built the consistency.

i didn't hear the whole thing, but his introducing press conference made me pretty optimistic
let's see what he will do.
he also talked about some roster changes via free agency and praised dirk and kidd.
ithough, i had the feeling the have an interest to trade josh although rick said he is excited to work with him.
