Southwest Kia Sports Talk has booked Josh Howard as the guest for tonight's show, which airs at 6:30 p.m. on Ch. 52. It is, as far as I know, the first time J-Ho will talk on the record since the day after the Mavs' season ended.
J-Ho scheduled the appearance on the show to promote his upcoming basketball camp in Dallas, but host Josh Roe will tactfully ask the questions that are on everybody's minds.

The bomb is tickin'....
Just when you were hoping he'll shut up and concentrates 100% on Mavs. Nah, we can a) predict the new stuff he will publicise and b) the lower grounds his tradevalue will hit after this.
Or maybe he says all the right things, but noone will believe him anyway, he has to know this yet.

he talked about the new coach and how he'll be working on his jumpshot

and his footwork on it. he said carlisle is a humorous guy and that rick is a good X's and O's guy and that'll be good for the end of games.
he said part of the reason he talked about the mary jane usage was b/c he's an honest dude who speaks his mind and found out that he shouldnt have, especially a subject like drug use. i like that he's brutally honest, the problem is when you aren't vanilla like most players are you'll get crucified with stuff like this. barkley im sure got hell for what he said all the time back in the day but got away with some b/c he was a helluva player.
thats about all i remember, he then talked about his charity work and foundation and his bball camp he's having this year in dallas and back home at north carolina.
the guy said he'll post the interview online at myspace.com/southwestkiasportstalk
its not up there yet but it might be, maybe they'll even put it on youtube. but thats about all i remember from the interview. wish he wouldve asked about the party after the game 4 loss personally, thats what irked me

Every time the host brought up anything with the end of the season or his weed use, Howard would just say that its in the past and everyone has moved on. (He probably said that 5 times during the interview) Also there were a few times where Howard was asked about how Carlisle will fit in and how much better they would be, and in his answer he would throw in "if im still here" somewhere in his reply. So I think he feels the pressure, he sounded like he wants to prove everyone wrong for doubting him. The only problem I had with his answers was he was asked what Carlisle was wanting him to work on this off season and he said "my jump shot first off", and his jump shot isn't the problem, its his decision making.

^^ Yeah, he should decide almost always to not take that jump shot...

agreed, there are very few times he takes a jumpshot that is necessary. There is never a time when he has the ball in his hand around the three point line that I am happy because 90% of the time it turns into a one dribble jump shot.
