Trades made on Draft Day during Mark Cuban’s ownership:
2007: Drafted Nick Fazekas with the 34th pick and Renaldas Seibutis with the 50th pick in the second round of the NBA Draft; acquired draft rights to Reyshawn Terry (44th pick) from the Orlando Magic for the draft rights to Milovan Rakovic (60th pick).
2006: Drafted Maurice Ager with the 28th pick in the first round of the NBA Draft and J.R. Pinnock in the second round with the 58th pick; traded Pinnock’s draft rights to the L.A. Lakers for a future second round pick.
2004: Traded Antawn Jamison and cash considerations to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Christian Laettner, Jerry Stackhouse and the draft rights to Devin Harris; traded a future first round draft choice to the Utah Jazz in exchange for the draft rights to Pavel Podkolzin; drafted Vassilis Spanoulis with the 50th selection in the NBA Draft and traded his rights to the Houston Rockets for the draft rights to Luis Flores.
2003: Drafted Josh Howard with the 29th selection and Xue Yuyang with the 57th selection in the NBA Draft; traded the rights to Xue to Denver for a 2004 second round draft pick.
2000: Drafted Etan Thomas with the 12th selection. Acquired the draft rights to Courtney Alexander (13th) from Orlando in exchange for cash and Dallas’ first round pick in the 2001 NBA Draft; acquired the draft rights to Donnell Harvey (22nd) and forward John Wallace from New York in exchange for guard Erick Strickland and the draft rights to Pete Mickeal (58th); drafted Dan Langhi (31st) and traded his rights to Houston for the right to Eduardo Najera (38th) and a 2001 second-round pick; traded Sean Rooks to the Los Angeles Clippers for guard Eric Murdock.
