Dallas trade breakdown- Dallas gets youthful depth at 2 positions of need and fills an extra roster spot with a player's that can actually help.
Kyle Lowry
Jared Jeffries
for
Jerry Stackhouse
Memphis Trade Breakdown-Memphis moves one of its many PG's and gets a young forward in return.
Renaldo Balkman
for
Kyle Lowry
New York Trade Breakdown- NY gets much further under the salary cap next season and moves 2 players they don't need.

No to the initial trade. Jerome James is awful and his contract is huge and Nate is good for dunking and thats about it.

Re: DAL / NYK trade idea
Why does that make sense for either team? Do we really need another PG under 6'0 that likes to shoot and a worthless center.

Cmavswin trade is decent for all teams and I'd do it.
The original sucks for New York.

I'd rather have Bass over Lee
I'd rather have Stack (believe it or not) over James and shorty....we already have Barea.
As for the 2nd trade, I'm not big enough of a Lowry fan to turn Stack's contract to Jeffries' contract.

Re: DAL / NYK trade idea
Nate is miles better than JJB and can score like a mofo. They honestly shouldn't even be compared because seriously, Barea has done nothing.
David Lee is hardly worthless! He would be both Dirk's and the center backup. The guy is an 11 and 9 type player on a team that had Curry and Randolph. He's a tough rebounding machine and a good center scorer (55% career fg).
These two would absolutely improve our team.

Re: DAL / NYK trade idea
I read on the Knicks post they want a rugged blocking big man and lookin to get rid of Lee and Randolph. So why dont we do this:
Zach Randolph
David Lee
for
Erick Dampier
Eddie Jones
or
Erick Dampier
Jerry Stackhouse
Dallas front court improve tremendously
New York in the first trade get a rugged and blocking center who doesnt do a lot offensively but cant compliment Eddie Curry better than Zach Randolph and their cap room improves with a smaller contract.
With the second deal they get still a smaller contract financially wit Dampier and Jerry Stackhouse is may be a better fit for Dantoni system than most ppl say David Lee would be.
I like the First one better becuz its more benefits in the Knicks favor and they need to improve that cap room.
or we could trade Dampier and a filler for Marbury's expiring.

it would take more than Damp and Eddie Jones or Stack to get those guys im afraid. I know the Knicks were not wanting to offer Lee for real good players let alone these guys. But, i think if they make these trades the media and fans will already be calling for D'Antoni's head.

Re: DAL / NYK trade idea
I think I would have to have RC's head if we trade our center on a 2 year deal for Zbo...period regardless of how "albatros" Zbo's contract is just because we would have 4 PFs (yes, Lee is a PF) and Diop.from_ro_to_dirk wrote:it would take more than Damp and Eddie Jones or Stack to get those guys im afraid.
