Summer League Game.

Anyone if the Mavs Summer League Team will be playing locally? They did last year, and the two years before that and I've been to all of them. Anyone know if they plan on doing it again this year?

i would assume they would on txn21, if you get the paper check everyday they play and in the paper in the sports section they show all the sporting events on tv that day

i'm not living in the metroplex anymore so i can't be sure but from what i remember in the past, the local games would be a week or a few days before they started the summer league. so i'm assuming it's not going to happen now since the league starts tomorrow. Plus, i'd have read something about it on dallasnews or dallasbball

i went when they played Nigeria and China at TCU. I remember the China game was the day Nash left for the Suns and I was there watching the game and didn't even know until i got in the car and that was all of the talk on the radio.

o i guess i read the original title wrong, i thought he meant the vegas league

i havent heard anything about playing any national teams. i did go last year when the U-19 american team played china. they dominated the whole team and Yi didnt really play that great until the 4th quarter when the game was pretty much out of hand. Wang Zhi Zhi did pretty good but they were just so much slower then USA. that was the 1st time i got to see michael beasley and he was clearly the best player on the court

Yeah, I went to all the Global Games last year, including the China vs. Mavs game. I was looking forward to this year's game, but I think the Olympics might have something to do with it. National teams might not be available, even teams that didn't qualify.
