The Players? The Coach? The Front Office?

So what is the real issue here with the Mavericks? The players? are they mentally drained or were they mentally drained due to the former coach? The coach? or because the front office traded for a guy that completely changed the offense concept in the middle of the season? The front office? because it listened to the coach on the players he wanted or believed in the player that were mentally drained? So is it the players even though only 6 remain from three years ago? The front office who believed in it's star player who averaged 26 points and 12 rebounds in the 5 playoff games or it's second player who averaged 12.5 point per with 7 boards per? Could it have been the coach who tried to combine Nellie (GS) ball with Pop (SA) ball and could never be satisfied whe it failed?

So what is the issue? Is this doomed due to the players and/or ownership issues? Is it saved or partially saved due to a new coach? Or are we all here sitting here watching the 6-8th best team in the Western Conference just waiting for them to get to the 2011/2012 season when only Jason Terry is left on the books???????? :-?

The NBA comissioner is still David Stern and his sidekick is still Stu Jackson.....

No, JK. While that is an issue, whoever idea it was to trade Harris for Kidd is the main problem. That was probably the same person who decided to waste our MLE on Diop as opposed to insisting him not be in the trade so that we could use bird rights.

I think alot of things will be better now that avery is gone. I still cannot believe that he wasnt fired after the spurs game when he let kidd on the bench in crunch time.
that said, a change of coaches wont get it done. we're still 2 pieces away, a starting SG who can play both sides of the ball and a big who has some sort of inside game.
