GER/PUE/GRE/SLO - Injury-riddled Germany lose Okulaja, then fall to Puerto Rico

"In the Supercup, a warm-up event for the qualifying event in Athens, Dirk Nowitzki had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Germans but he was upstaged by his Dallas Mavericks teammate Jose Barea who poured in 24 for the Puerto Ricans.

HAHA if only Barrea could do that with the Mavs!!!!EVERY NIGHT!!!! we'd never lose!!
We would be able to trade Kidd for a balling a$$ 2 guard. Unfortunately, It hasn't worked
that way.

I just want to see him get consistant 10 MPG, not 25 one game and 0 the next.

He needs to find his role.

I would just like to see his defense improve. I know he's not going to get any taller and it seems like even small guards just post him up like he's nothing and it's so frustrating to give it up on the other end of the court. It seemed like when he got consistent mins there for a while when we had Devin and Devin was hurt we really struggled. He had a few good offensive outbursts but his D uggh .... :-?

I dont know maybe he get it together more this year but if not then he doesnt warrant consistent mins.

barea wont get any significant minutes. I'm fine with him being the 3rd point in our rotation. he is working his a$$ off and is a nice guy in the locker, he deserves being on the roster
