not from a contract dollar standpoint, but from a trade value standpoint - what most other teams would like best and FO would be willing to part with (includes my assumption Dirk won't be traded):

Kidd's 21m expiring
Howard 3years @ 30m
Damp 2 years @ 20m
JET 4 years 40m
Stack 8m expiring
Eddie Jones 2m expiring
Bass 1m expiring
S&T George
S&T Wright
S&T Allen

I'd assume Kidd is staying put. You can't get Chris Paul or Deron Williams so Kidd is here at least this year and at the bottom of the list even though some teams might like 21m expiring.

here's how I'd rank them:
Bass 1m expiring
Stack 8m expiring
Howard 3years @ 30m
Damp 2 years @ 20m
Eddie Jones 2m expiring
S&T George
S&T Wright
S&T Allen
JET 4 years 40m

I'd put Eddie Jones before Damp but I see your point why you would do it your way.

1. Stack
2. Bass
3. Howard
4. Terry

I think everyone else would just be fillers in a trade. Dampier I would rather keep, I dont think we get a better player in return for him and his contract is only 2 more years.

JET is not an asset he is a liability. Howard gets the Mavs sixty cents on the dollar in trade value due to his actions. Bass+Stack+Jones either a combo or a partial of those three should be able to get the Mavs something the problem is do we really want to see a Vince Carter or someone like him back for them?

Howard is a clear #1. Even with his off the court junk, he is a former all star in his prime.
