Terry and Foster are looking really good... Gerald Green isnt playing tonight... Its good to see the Mavs finally winning in good fashion, even if it is summer league

I think Shan Foster, James Singleton and Charles Rhodes are gonna make the team, I hope the Mavs either put Eddie Jones in a trade or buy out his contract so the opens up another spot for somebody to make the team and the Mavs are just dumb if they don't put Charles Rhodes on the team the way he's been playing, I also have a feeling that Brandon Bass and Jerry Stackhouse are gonna be put in some kind of trade.

Mavs don't have roster space for two more guys, just one. James Singleton has already signed. Don't get too confident with these SL games.

The last time I checked they had 2 or 3 open spots, they didn't resign George so now that's another open spot.

I seriously liked Shan Foster in this game. He had his shot going very well and so had terry and smith.
charles rhodes has been playing very consistantly on a good level.
who's really pissing me off is keith mcleod. he has no jumpshot at all, but tries to hit threes with his ugly looking J. he gets thousands of screens and refuses to use them to free up or to give it up to those who cut to the basket after a pick and roll. there were so many opportunities for a great pick and roll or a pick and pop but with him on the floor there is no ball movement outgoing from the PG spot. i wish barea would be our SL pg.
james singleton seems to have no ballhandling ability at all. once he gets into traffic and is surrounded be 2 plaers he looses the ball.
pape sow played nice at the beginning of the game. that pass to singleton was just sweet. he has the ability to drive and hit the occasional mid-range J. we should sign him for our third string center.

A lot of players very good for Europe(Sow,Singleton,Rhodes,Terry,Foster,Smith),but i have fear there are no players good for NBA.

Finally Shan Foster looked like he wanted to make the team. In the first two games he played like he did not want to do anything wrong. In this game he played like he wanted to show he could do something. We got to see his stroke which was solid. Everytime he has an open shot he knocks it down even in the 1st two games. In this game he was aggressively looking for the ball instead of standing outside the 3-pt line watching the action. If he can continue to knock down open shots then he has a place on this Mavericks team. A 6'6" SG with a great shot should be able to make this team. By the way he is actually a nice passer. In the 3 games he has made several really good passes.

JaJuan Smith is a 6'2" SG and despite his good shooting I don't want another undersized SG. If he wants to learn to play PG in the D-League and then come back as a PG maybe he can make this league but I would spend much time on him.

Reyshawn looked pretty good in this one. Still not the dominant force I was hoping to see but he certainly looked better than games 1 and 2.

Singleton already has a contract with the Mavs and he OK. He could contribute as a backup player but I still see him as roster filler.

Figures. I watch the first 2 games and we look absolutely terrible so I decide to skip watching the 3rd game only to find out we finally had a decent game.
