Would he make the roster? He remains me of Brandon Bass with rebounds.

Bass was very lucky and rebounding from his first failure in Hoops. Rhodes sounds like a similar flyer, but no guarantees.

If the rumored Bass+Stack for Artest deal goes down, I would almost say you have to give him and Singleton a shot in the NBA.

Hey guys, I'm a Mississippi State fan so I saw alot of Charles Rhodes in college.
For his first 3.5 years there he was pretty inconsistent but he really can on strong last season. He's just a beast on offense, he has a really good mid-range jumper and will throw down some power dunks. He is a good rebounder, not great but good, and he's a fair defender but he does have to work on the fouls. Another thing that hurts him is that he's a tad undersized to play PF. If yall get the Charles Rhodes from the second half of last season, he'll be a fierce, consistent player. If yall get the other Charles Rhodes, he'll drift in and out of games at times. Seeing as he has money on the line now, yall should get good Charles.
I never really though he had a shot at making the team, but who knows.

Knocked Pops of the summer league team and out of contention for a roster spot. Just like Brandon Bass last year.

Pops may be energetic and athletic, but the man needs more seasoning. It's a shame. But, it happens more than we realize.

The beast wearing No. 23 is Charles Rhodes:
http://tw.youtube.com/watch?v=fJw_Pc9L54whttp://tw.youtube.com/watch?v=JqMWzwfxDZ8He plays better than James Singleton. He's the most consistent players on the team.
He averages 10-6. +14 efficiency. 70% FG% Impressive!
Well, the Mavs have nothing more than 6-8 PF but they finish with 3-2.
They defend Love, Thompson, Jordan, and so on really well.
Rhodes deserves a lot of credits. I feel like he's ready to enter NBA floor.
His post skills are better than Damp, Diop, Bass, and Dirk.
We should strongly consider adding him to the roster.

For those who only noticed the dunks and didn't actually watch the matchups, Rhodes played SF not PF when he was on the floor. He had a nice ability to hit the jumper, which is part of what opened things up for dunks at times.

Bottomline is all the summer leaguers in the world aren't going to make us legit contenders. We need a big name trade like I don't know Artest and then we can fill the empty spots with guys like Rhodes, Singleton, etc.

I didn't really think Rhodes had much of a shot of making the team at first but it'd be nice to see him sneak into the 15th spot.
