Market For Iguodala Drying Up?

Iguodala, meanwhile, is a restricted free agent in a market that has suddenly dried up. The Sixers have the right to match any offer from another team. But it seems as if the Memphis Grizzlies are the only team that can offer a deal anywhere near the five-year, $57 million extension Iguodala rejected last fall.
Sixers president and general manager Ed Stefanski said in an e-mail that he met Friday with Iguodala's agent, Rob Pelinka, but wouldn't comment on the negotiations.
Iguodala wrote in a blog on his Web site that "everything is kind of in slow motion right now, which is for the most part normal for restricted free agents."
Iguodala's only recourse if he doesn't get an offer to his liking is to sign the Sixers' offer of $3.8 million for this season, then become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
But Iguodala seemed excited about the Sixers' prospects this season now that they have signed Elton Brand away from the Los Angeles Clippers.
"I feel he would be a huge addition," Iguodala wrote. "The opportunity to play with a low-post player still in his prime will be exciting."

I'd love for us to find a way to acquire Iggy and if only we could move Jason Terry for him. Jason still has four years left at a contract that'd be very difficult for us to move and especially for a young potential star like Iguodala. On the other hand Philly would probably want to dump Reggie Evans on us who has three years left at $4,640,000, $4,960,000 and $5,080,000. Reggie is about the only bad contract I see on Philly making it even more difficult to be trade partners.
