Robert Horry as third-string center

After KT signed, it's likely the end of Horry's time at SAS. Should we make a call to him?
That would give us something like:
C - Diop / Damp / Horry
PF - Dirk / Bass / Singleton
SF - JoHo / AW / RAT
SG - Green / Stack / EJ
PG - Kidd / JET / JJB
Besides Mourning, I would be somehow content with Horry as our third-string. It's luxury.

He's got nothing left. I've always been a Horry fan but he's to old now I would rather try to find a younger option.

If anything, he looks for another ring, Boston maybe, maybe the Lakers.

I seriously think Horry will be able to take us to a championship.
An obvious hall of fame candidate, and one of the greatest basketball players who ever lived.

Yes Robert Horry is the missing piece of the dallas mavericks.
This thread should be ended immediately.

Why do the mavs always get to a guy after he is used up? We don't get Keith Van Horn when he is good. No we get him after he is done. We don't get Eddie Jones when he is good. We don't get Sean Bradley when he was good, oh wait he never was. I don't want Horry. I would rather go with a young guy and let him have a chance rather than using up a roster spot on an over the hill guy.

He is none of your assessment of him. I know you are new and all, but we had this debate last year, and he lost big time. He has been a decent player on great teams. He has never been a star. Hell, with that criteria the HOF may put him in with their loose requirements.

Come on, guys. We can only offer LLE for any free agents. I would be content with Bonzi Wells, Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutumbo, or Robert Horry for the price. I look like a prime dream, tho.

We don't have a LLE. It is only available bi-annualy and we used it last season on Eddie Jones. All we can offer is vet. minimum.

I doubt we get Bonzi for vet's min, although he's the one role player I always waned on the Mavericks. He's like Devean George, just not sucky.

Horry said he'd either stay with the Spurs (will not), go to the Rockets, or retire.
Horry said he would like to return to the Spurs, where he spent the last five seasons. If that’s not possible, then he would like to go to the Houston Rockets, where he played his first four seasons.
“It’s not about breaking the bank,” Horry said. “I just want the minimum. I’ve made enough money. I just like being with the guys and competing and having fun.”
