Mavericks Sign James Singleton

The Dallas Mavericks have signed forward James Singleton to a guaranteed contract today, according to his agent.

I guess the mavs liked what they saw during the summer league.

dont expect much folks. I remember after Daniels made it, everyone expected every Undrafted to be Daniels. There is a reason that he was a UFA

He's not an impact player but he' a decent bench player. I'll take him over some of last year's bench (ie. Ju. Howard, Jones, Magilore, etc.)'

Singleton did pretty good... I dont expect anything from him in the real season though.

this whole time ive been thinking this was james white from cincinatti who was this great dunker, turns out he was a guy that's been riding pine for the clippers and i think was in europe last year.

maybe he'll be another bass type though

For what he'll be, a 3rd string forward, he's gonna be a decent player & a good decision on Dallas part.

This is apparently some weird-azz way too late reporting by hoopsworld. There is no story here, just hoopsworld writing a story that's not a story (that seems like par for the course for them). Singleton signed a contract weeks ago, and nothing has changed.
