if we trade BASS and fillers for Tyrus Thomas we have a starting SF and then JHO will play at 2??
with thomas he can play at 3 and 4..that would be a solid line-up!!!

chicago S&T gordon and tyrus thomas for howard/bass/and fillers???

it think this trade would fit.the western conference has getting big players like gasol,kaman,camby,oden,aldrige,josh smith,duncan,shaq,stoudmire.....etc...

and also the bench...dallas sign rhodes,sigleton,green,Rayshan,
this would be:

dampier/diop/rhodes
dirk/singleton/rayshan terry
tyrus thomas/
joho(gordon)/green
kidd/terry/barea

joho, green,thomas can switch position..

Tyrus Thomas is not a good SF. He's not even a good PF now. Chicago wouldnt do it since they are rebuilding and Thomas has more "potential" (not a big fan of his in the first place).

No thanks to any of the proposed ideas. We have our own Tyrus Thomas, and if we need to have fillers to get him? Not a chance. Tyrus doesn't have a little mid-range jumper, and we could actually use Bass @ the 3, we can't use Tyrus at the 4.

No thanks once again. Gordon is Terry without the handles, and an attitude. Gordon's contract is likely to be @ or more than that of Terry's. If it were possibly Howard/Terry for Gordon/Nocioni/Tyrus/fillers, I'd consider.

I'd do Bass and Stack for Thomas and Gooden. I won't part with Howard, Dirk, JET or the centers.
I like this a lot coz Rick's hinting RAT plays a lot better at PF. He can be our small ball back PF.

C - Diop / Damp / Fazekas
PF - Dirk / Gooden / RAT
SF - Thomas / Singleton / Wright
SG - JoHo / Green / Jones
PG - Kidd / JET / JJB

Rather have Rhodes than Jones just cut the old guy loose and retire him unless Miami or someone wants him.

By the way Thomas has no SF ability what so ever and if that were the case Bass would be our answer there. Rhodes and RAT and Singleton are all SF that can contribute at PF. This team needs scoring at the 2 and hoepfully Green and Wright get us some there with Kidd feeding them lobs. Hopefully we do resign Fazekas as a 3rd string center/ PF. I'd rather he play as Dirks backup anyway I think he has more upside than Bass.

me too. bass has a nice role on this team. I'd only trade him for un upgrade at the 2.
