Jason Kidd arrived with a thud and he'll be 36 in March. But the glass-half-full view in Cuban Country is Dirk, Josh and J-Kidd have plenty left, new coach Rick Carlisle will be a tonic for their damaged psyches, and the Mavs are just 26 months removed from a spectacular run to the Finals.Link

Cant say I feel any different except for 2 things. The Mavs will win at least 50 and I would still put the Spurs over the Rockets. Spurs may be old but they have a least proved it in the past. What have Rockets ever proved besides getting hurt and choking in the playoffs.

Mavs will win about 50 games but its not even guaranteed that a record like that will even get you into the playoffs, and even if we do, I dont expect to see them in the second round... I hope im wrong though
