I am extremely pumped about the start of the season and can't wait to see my MAVS.
I know this is just a pre-season game on tuesday but does anybody know if the game is
going to be on tv. If so please let me know what channel. I would love nothing more than
to get a peek at what this seasons team s going to look like.

The first televised game will be on Oct 15th as far as I can tell.

Can't believe Cuban owns HD.Net and doesn't have all of the Mavs games televised much less televised in HD.

Mavs have been looking pretty good from what I've seen from the boxscore so far. Except for the 4 TOs by Kidd. Wright is doing pretty good I think. Bass is doing well also. Barea is sucking bad.

I've been listening the whole game.

The crew has nothing bad to say about Diop.
AW has been doing VERY well, and they're commenting on how well the team is gelling, and playing together.
Even Josh Howard and Kidd are playing together, GREAT sign.
Singleton has also hustled a lot.

Very promising, same thing I said on another board. Albeit this is Washington without Antawn Jamison, this has been fun.

The good:

Mavs shooting 52%
Bass 13 points in 11 minutes
Diop 4 pts, 7 boards and 3 blks in 15 min.

The Bad:
Kidd 6 turns
Blatche with 18
Mavs shooting 50% from the freethrow line.

Brandon Bass is BEASTLY. It's insane.

Jamison is also gone for a long time and its just a matter of time till Butler gets injured

I haven't heard of him either, he got no PT tonight, I didn't hear them mention his name at all either.

We need to play AW a lot this season, if I see him rot on the bench this year I'll be sick.

I'm surprised with Diop, then again, he is with a good PG.

Hell, even Terry looked good @ point tonight.

I only see the box score and can see a lot of things that look good and a lot of things that bother me already. But, I'm not going to mention any as of yet because it is only one game and it is only pre-season.

it's only the first game of preseason and that against a injured washington team so we shouldnt get carried away too much.
but the 4-4 from AW along with 4 assists and 3 steals put a little smile on my face, I gotta admit

AW is the real deal from what I can tell. Stacks days are numbered.

This is what we have asked for. Give the kid a chance to lose the job. go wright. If he can average 10 pts a game for 20 minutes, that would be spectacular.

while it is preseason, look at who was shooting FTs
Damp 0-2
Diop 2-4
Rhodes 0-2
Howard 1-5
Stack 0-1
while the first 3 may be "typical", the last two aren't and I wouldn't expect those results on a nghtly basis

Didnt a few of us, including myself hype about Wright last year ? Hes a slasher, and a cutter who is playing defense and all out hussling. Im happy with last night, I wouldnt expect to get 108 points a game with our starters playing limited minutes in the regular season, but im glad too see the youth is making an effort to take it to the cup.
