I'm still waiting for the pain of trading Devin Harris to go away...:(

Come on Kidd....prove Cuban right and get us a ring so that the 15+ years after you are gone won't hurt as much while Harris is living it up in NJ!

beleive it or not the only time of the year that i feel the pain of losing Devin Harris is the nights we play the Hornets and Jazz. Now that we have Diop back the pain has almost subsided. The pain will hit me if we don't win a ring and after Kidd is gone.

wow that must have been embarrassing. The guy traveled on his first shot though. Devin Harris is going to have a really good year and make Cuban look pretty bad for pulling the trigger on that deal. The Mavs could have done it with Devin, but I'm not sure Kidd has the legs to get the job done for the mavericks this year.

Harris was pretty good, but was he the difference in winning a championship? Doubt it. Not sure why everyone keeps forgetting that Chris Paul also ate his lunch. If you want a PG that is going to dominate or shut down Paul, you are wasting your time.

I give Kidd the benefit of the doubt last season because Avery had about the dumbest offense. We should see a marked improvement this year under Carlisle. I just hope Kidd stays healthy.

Devin didn't look like he was taking it seriously though. Granted he's a terrible shooter but you could tell his initial field goal attempt was lazy; flat footed and forced. He also could have easily deduced the guy's predictable dribbling pattern by just poking at the ground.

Paul made Terry eat his lunch twice to make up for what he couldn't do against Harris. Maybe you should watch those games again or just stop speading incorrect info on the one position you seeminly know nothing about: PG!!!!

Dude, do you honestly think Harris was shutting down Chris Paul? Are you kidding me? Take a look back and then get with me. In fact, look and see what Paul does against the nets with Harris.

Im not saying that Harris was terrible, but I believe Kidd is an upgrade, at least for now. Then, his salary comes off and we can sign someone else.

The fact is, Harris never made the leap that other great PGs make by this point in his career. He will be just above average for his entire career.

JES has always been convinced Devin Harris was this great upcoming PG, and even though the facts just never did align, he never has, and apparently never will give up. Anyone who disagrees with him just doesn't know anything about basketball. If you point this out more than a couple times, he'll slap the old ignore on you, which really gets you where it hurts.

Harris's upside is NBA average PG.

Kidd will be a better PG than Harris until the day he retires (and probably a few years beyond).

Unlike you, mmreg, jlp0807 at least can have very knowledgeable discussions on the other 4 positions. You are either clueless or only post crap to start feuds.

BTW, how is you beloved Maurice Ager doing?

LOL! I almost had an aneurism that day. It's like one of those times you are 100% convinced that someone is doing something wrong that means a lot to you, but you are in the minority so everyone thinks you are crazy....well, that was me with Harris.

mmreg will find any oppertunity he can do dis Harris and myself (not surprising he opened this thread). Just one of those things you get used to. No love lost btwn us. If it wasn't for our fueds, this forum would be dead.

Everyone has their own opinion and entitled to it, but make sure you can support what you say if it contridicts me cuz I will exploit it.

He wasn't schooled by a noboby though, according to one of the comments.

"hat guy had some crazy moves though, you dont see many NBA players doing that. And from what ive heard Stuart Tanner is a beast in street ball, i've heard ppl say he's the European version of Skip To My Lou"
