Remember the story after the Olympics about how Jason Kidd was going to give his Olympic gold medal to Elaine Wynn, wife of Steve Wynn? Steve Wynn owns the Wynn hotel and casino in Las Vegas, where the U.S. national team stayed in training before the Olympics.

The story isn’t true, Kidd said.

"She’s a very smart woman, and she loves sports," Kidd said. "We talked a lot during the summer. I told her she can borrow it whenever she wants, but it’s still mine."
