i havent been able to seen the team play just following box scores mainly, does it seem like we're missing more ft's then usual? one thing ive always liked since following this team has been they're always a top notch ft shooting team, even with avery, just seems like they're struggling some thus far.

Mavs are 9-13 from the free throw line at the half. Mavs have played good defense but the Pistons shooting sucks tonight.

Nice turn around jumper by Damp! He still is slow on the pick and roll though.

A. Wright has been playing PG and doing a very nice job of it.

If the Pistons do not come back and win this game they should be ashamed of themselves. Four Piston starters + Maxiell against the Mavs bench.

wow, AWright is the real deal ... just split the double-team (Sheed + Prince were on him) and was fouled by Chauncey while attacking the rim.

But he's gotta make his free throws...

Kidd, Wright, Josh, Dirk, Diop
JET, Stack, George, Bass, Damp
JJB, J Smith, Green, Williams, Singleton

After the first few, looks like the roster should be set (unless a trade obviously).

I was just about to ask that (preseason games are not played on NBA league pass). Kidd 29, Barea 8, Terry DNP, McLeod DNP. That left 11 min of someone else at the point.

I see six maybe seven guys that I am uncomfortable with even touching the ball. Is this the Mavs weakest lineup of the decade?

While I would agree that there are a few guys I am not comfortable with either, take a look at the 11-15 spots on every other roster and tell me how great those guys are. I think its good to have young athletic guys at the end of the bench that can learn from the verterns. Not everyone is going to be all star material, but we have solid roll players in the 8-11 spots. I really dont think this team is much worse than any in previous years. That being said, our competition is a lot better than it used to be.

This team is definitely better than last years!! they only people we lost were malik allen magliore Lue i think...And those guys are terrible we have replaced them with players who are actuall role players not dead weight

Devean George, Jose Juan Barea and Shawne Williams are the dead weight we got this offseason. I guess it doesn't matter much to us. Rick's leaning towards McLeod. That's not a good sign.

I hope the Carlisle will give Williams a chance.
He knows him and he has potential. he is more productive than george.

I would love to have green as our first backup at the 2 behind wright but i dont think it will happen too soon since JET will also get some minutes at SG. Stackhouse will do the rest when JET is at the point.
maybe green will get some minutes behind howard and williams.

I think this was a really huge game for the Mavericks, I know, I know we lost and all, and we blew a lead, but our starters did their job, the bench was brought in to see what they could do, and I think it says a lot about their abilities that they took on 4 out of 5 of the Pistons starters and only lost by 4, is it just me or does Dallas has depth again?
