Coaching on the bench yes playing hell no. DA is 700 years old and can't shoot or defend at least Barea can shoot and is not 700 years old. I have a feeling Mcleod gets cut when Barea is healthy again and the Mavs go out and re-sign R.Terry.

I'd rather have an open roster spot and save the 0.7 mil than have DA.

Austin Croshere? He was waived and is a former Mav with a couple of big games if I remember correctly when he had 25 mins or more. Also, he played for Carlisle as a Pacer.

Maybe DJ Mbenga? He could be waived by the Lakers. Donnie Nelson said he could see him as a Mav again down the road when he was cut to get Juwan Howard last year.

Wow!! I jokingly said in the other PG related thread that someone will soon be asking us to resign Darrell Armstrong. I did not even realize that there was already an entire thread to just such a thing. Please stop suggesting old people!! I am sick of bring in hasbeen players who were once OK but are now years past being OK.

As you may know, I'm not suggesting to sign an old man. But rather, I' suggesting how suck the backup point situation is. (I don't consider JET a PG. He's absolutely an undersized combo guard.)
