Completely agree ! It's one thing to lose it's another thing to have your butt handed to you. Dirk was a no show, Terry just threw shots up, no body played defense, this team will never win if it doesn't get to the basket. Absolutley disappointing !

i thought the same.... avery may not be as a good coach as rick, but he will scream to death if he sees a loss like this, he wont allow it

The fact that the offseason moves of this team was getting Diop and a few spares is unacceptable.

I think it's obvious this team has been needing a major roster change the past few seasons.

Supposedly Avery was always telling the guys to go to the basket. If you fire the coach, and then hire a new one and you get the same results that can only mean one thing right ? ....

1. Obama makes me sick.
2. Mavs will be okay if we STOP PLAYING BAREA at key times of the game.

Barea is the last of the problem. But just another example of how hilarious our FO is in thinking he is a legit backup PG.

Anyone in their heart HONESTLY believe this team will do anything in the playoffs? Youve got 2 years of evidence against you.

True. Carlisle is clueless when it comes to how to distribute playing time though. Im not saying he is solely responsible for the loss tonight (although I am not understanding the reason JJB was in for what seemed like an eternity), but Avery at least seemed to know what he was doing to some degree... I dont get that feeling from RC

This game was lost not b/c of Carlisle. It was lost b/c of our starters sucked. Esp Dirk. And JOsh in the 4th quarter (like always). And Damp/Diop got badly outrebounded.

I'm not saying Carlisle is all that, but those who were expecting him to be some kind of magic man will be sorely disappointed.

Avery needed to go, but the main problem was and will always be the roster.

But I do agree about the questionable PT distribution. I don't ever want to see Barea unless its garbage time.

REBUILD

They could sure use Harris and those picks if that's the way they decide to go. Rebuilding now would totally contradict the thought behind the Kidd trade and I doubt Donnie would want to second guess and put himself on the hot seat less than a year after the trade.
