In this scenario Wilcox and Mason would both be coming off the books after this season. Along with this trade we do this as well.
Dallas Trades: Howard-Terry to LAL
LAL Trades: Odom-Farmar-Ariza
In this scenario Odom and Ariza would both be coming off the books after this season. So in total we would be freed up from the contracts of the following players: Kidd, Odom, Wilcox, Mason, & Ariza. I realize it wont be popular to trade Howard and Bass and for some Terry but if you look at how much we trade away in contracts and how much we will be freed up in contracts in the long run it might not be so bad ? So the starting five would be Kidd-Mason-Odom-Dirk-Wilcox. I realize not the greatest line up but what we have seen lately aint so great either. Anyways just trying to find away to start rebuilding and get the cap space as soon as possible. Alright so let me have it ....
