It's a pick game and the O/U is 201.

We really need this win tonight. Larry Hughes most likely sits another game and Drew Gooden most likely plays tonight. We need to get something going before we head back on the road on the 16th.

it's a shame the best game threads on realgm are going to waste, perhaps if u put the mavs players as the negative pics they'll see it and then respond. think about it, it might save our season

yea well we need j-ho back tonight cause i promise u that luol deng will destroy green on the other end...i understand that terry is good startin...but seriously man its better to have 2 athletic wings to start the game for the mavz in #5 and #8 i know there names by the way
so i dunno i hope josh plays and the starting line up is kidd green josh dirk and damp thats a very balanced line up

I''ve come to thinking now how many more losses can we take before the organization realizes we need to make a shake-up. Hopefully we can bounce back tonight, we really need a win.

we will need like 40 losses to do anything remotely shakin it up
but from what i have read and heard i dont see a shake up coming at all for us
we got no 2010 pick and thats plain and simple our fall in to medocrity as already come now the next fall will be in to BAD BAD teams but i think since there is so much talent in the game of basketball that we will be back reloaded and ready to go by 2011 or 2012 so i say just watch the 1st 3 quarter of every game if u dont want heartache

Shake-up as in, get someone for JET, Stack, Howard, and highly unlikely but not impossible, even a blockbuster for dirk. Every game is just really frustrating to watch nowadays. And I'm certain we won't see a turn around like the 0-4 start of the 06-07 season.

My first post on these forums! Yay! Anyway, I see the Mavs taking this. Mavs are definitely the better team but they must hold it down in the 4th. As you can tell, I am a big Gerald Green. Liked him since high school, my favorite player. I'm really like that he's getting an opportunity this year with a good team. Hopefully he drops 30 tonight If Howard isn't playing. Thabo is a good defender though. We'll see.

Howard suiting up, may start

Rick Carlisle doesn't like to divulge any unnecessary factoids that might serve the opponent, so there's nothing for sure about Josh Howard tonight.

But he went through the shootaround and is suiting up for the game. Why would he do that if he wasn't going to play, right? He also took a lot of jump shots before the game and appeared to be handling the ball well.

Howard has been fighting a sore left wrist since a fall against Cleveland 10 days ago. He has missed the last two games.

Yeah Howard will get the go at SF tonight. I hope GG plays around 25 minutes tonight though. Mavs need his all-out hustle. In my opinion, starting five should be Kidd/Green/Howard/Nowikzki/Dampier with Terry as 6th man. Green will surprise a lot of naysayers if he already hasn't.

Josh Howard is going to suit up for the game but might not play. Will just have to see what Rick plans on doing once the game starts and how we do throughout the game. Hopefully we can get our act together and not even need Josh.

With a brace on his left wrist, Josh Howard will be in the starting lineup tonight against the Bulls.

Howard did some shooting before the game and said he was good to give it a go. But expect the Mavericks to monitor how he's handling the ball with his left hand closely.
