He is expected to start, but I expect him to get limited minutes seeing as how other players stepped up in his absence such as Antoine Wright

I want to see Kidd-Terry-Howard-Dirk all get on the same page.

Dirk 25, 9, 3, 1b, 1s
Howard 20, 8, 2, 1b, 1s
Terry 20, 3, 4, 2s
Kidd 10, 9, 9, 2s

TOGETHER

Grow a got damn pair Howard and play, you are not Jerry Stackhouse...you dont have to be injured for half the season to stay fresh.

This just puts another level of appreciation on Dirk's healing ability

I think some of it has to do with coach seeing who the competition is and deciding we could fight without him. The Suns game on Thur is higher competition, so I think he will play.

I'd much rather see a Kidd-Terry-Barea combo develop into something as beautiful as the other night

If terry can play 90% of the time what he has done since removing Stack and if Barea can be anywhere near as good as he has the last 2 games, I would not mind that either. I just don't think we can count on any of those 3 for concistant scoring. Maybe just play who's hot.

Howard hasn’t played since Nov. 18 at Charlotte. He’ll gear up for Thursday’s matchup against the Suns, but as has become painfully evident, there are no guarantees.

Wright out

Antoine Wright sat out Tuesday’s game with a right groin strain sustained Saturday at Sacramento. He said he’ll miss at least Thursday’s game against Phoenix, if not more. Groin injuries can be finicky and require rest more than treatment.

Looks like Josh is going to try and play Thursday but Wright is done for a while.

Any of our swingmen get an injury, they should sit until it is fully healed. We have a good quantity of players at the swing and the only one that hurts losing is Howard. I want Howard in vs better competition, but the lesser competition, we are fine with playing a PG at the 2 and any combination of Williams, Wright, Singleton, Green and even George to fill in at the 3.

5-1

Houston
Memphis
Indiana
Sacramento
LA Clippers
5 Wins against a Combined record 31-62

1 Loss to the 15-2 Lakers

But you can't honestly sit there and suggest that Howard is a negative. We had players step up without Howard. We all could clearly see Stack had to go.
