New Moderator

I would like to announce the addition of a new moderator for a few of our Dallas-area forums.

cmavswin is now a moderator on our Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars forums.

In chatting with him, I found him to be a great guy and someone who will do a great job on these Dallas area forums.

Congratulations to you cmavswin and welcome aboard.

Thanks Howard for the kind words and the great support. I am looking forward to becoming a solid moderator for all 3 boards. I know I am following 2 outstanding moderators and have my work cut out for me but I am looking forward to keeping up with their style of moderating. I am also glad to be working with a talented Moderator in HMFFL and with all the talented posters on this and other boards.

I think cmavs will do a great job. I had IDed him from a long time back, and I think he will do us posters right. Give him some time to break in. Being a mod is not easy as you have to remove a lot of emotion and get the perspective of each side in a dispute, while dealing with an emotional situation. Flurp and I will be around to help as needed, and always the great HMFFL is on duty.

Good luck to cmavs. The board has many experienced posters, and help these mods out.

I wasn't trying to funny. I was just acknowleding you without saying "K" or just ignoring you. And I don't know about Mod....you seem to think putting Iverson's 40% shot jacking on this team and taking it away from the 46% shooting Dirk, Kidd, Howard and Terry is a good thing. Anyone who thinks that should have an automatic IQ reduction that severley limits their chances at being mod.
