Nocionni for Stackhouse and a 2nd round pick.
Bulls agree to buy Stack Out allowing him to come back to Dallas in 30 days.

?

Does this provide the depth and toughness to make headway in the West?

There are so many things that are wrong in that scenario. First why would you want to trade for Nocionni's contract ? Secondly if you bring him in then it takes time away from the younger players and his talent isn't worth what we are gelling with right now. Thirdly if Stack wants out of here if he was bought out in Chicago why would he want to sign back here, and Finally lets say the Mavs are crazy enough to do this deal, and Stack was crazy enough to want to sign back here after a buyout why would the Mavs want Stack back when they dont even play him now ? I just dont think this is a move that makes sense for the Mavs at all.

1. No to Nocioni
2. No way Stackhouse would re-sign with the Mavs so he could sit on the IR again

I don't think I would go for this even if Chicago added a first round pick. Nocioni's contract is too long and expensive for what he brings to the table. I would not want Stack back here either if he was bought out unless its to be a coach of some sort.
