Ok, i hate this trade, this is not my idea. I read it from somewhere, it is just a rumor...
But if this trade really happens, i will give up on our FO.
BTW, what do you guys think of the best trade if we send Stack away

Not a rumor, pure hypothetical trade.
Dallas would probably try for Curry, which makes me cringe to think about, but if all it took was Stack and Diop possibly, I would do it.

I think I posted this hypthetical trade a couple weeks ago and the reaction was negative. No one wanted any part of Rose. I have not seen him play since he left San Antonio where he was very effective and a big part of their team. The concensus is that he is not that player anymore. Looking at his recent stats his FG% is horrible and does not give much in the rebounding department either. The only reason I would bring him in is if he still possesses the some of the toughness he showed in SA and might add something chemistry wise. I haven't followed him close enough to know about his personality and if he would add something if he was on a playoff team.

I'd do it. Stack and Rose are equally worthless at this point, but Rose is in the final year of his contract. There's no reason NY would want to take on the extra salary though.

Rose has $0.9 mil more cap hit this year. Stack has $2 mil more next year. If we resign Bass & Kidd, we will be in the tax anyways, so it does not matter. Plus, I think there is a good chance that the cap hit can be reduced to just this year's in a buyout agreement. I would not do this deal until the day before the deadline (if nothing better comes) and only if we can get at least a 2nd round pick out of it as well. Then immediatly waive Rose and watch the waiver wire. As far as Rose on the court: NEVER!
