4 WAY Trade Scenario

Post#1 » by ASIMO » Thu Dec 18, 2008 11:37 pm

Hello guys. This is my first post. :D

So I gonna ask you what do you think about my trade scenario. :D

http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=4876531

The roster looks like...

Damp/Bass/Sene
Dirk/Smith/Williams
J-Ho/George
Miller/Terry/Green
Kidd/Barea

...and so sorry for my poor english...

-------------------------------------
I considered 2 rumors that...
CHA wanted Diop and seeks for a big man.
DAL offered Stack to OKC.

Are you a Dallas fan?

I like it for Dallas.
Sene can do what Diop does for us this year at a much cheaper price.
Thn we get Mike Miller & Joe Smith for scrubs.

I think Charlotte likes it too.

I don't think Minnesota likes it. In fact, I'm pretty sure they would not.

OKC can do better too as Stack & Singleton...sending them Bass may help.

I think cutting Minny out and Adding Bass to OKC helps.

Thanx for your reply!!

Yes I am a Dirk's fan from Germany.^^ So I am a Dallas fan!! ^^

I thought Minnesota might agree with it because of their financial aid in Next year. (more half than keeping Miller + reduce Madsen's contract, plus MIN can get his type of younger player.)

For OKC, if DAL gives money OKC for his buyout, this deal is not bad for them. After that they might use stack cheaper price in Next year or trade him to another team without cash. Seemingly they lost nothing without Sene.

However I agree with JES12 that there might be better scenario for both teams. ^^;

Well, welcome to realgm.

I'm pretty sure Minny spent a lot of money marketting Miller in Minny. And h's realy not that old. I just don't see Minny biting. As far as OKC, if we send cash and Bass to OKC, they may bite and then swing Stack to NY for Malik Rose.

Dallas' roster would look like this:

Damp/Sene
Dirk/Smith/Madsen
J-Ho/Williams/George
Miller/Terry/Green
Kidd/Barea

Leaving out Minny (more realistic) we would look like this
Damp/Sene
Dirk/Smith/May
J-Ho/Williams/Green
George/Terry/Morrison
Kidd/Barea

I think DAL should find the shooting gurd who is unselfish, good passer, can play SF(for J-Ho's abscence) and can score. Miller is a good candidate ... at least to me^^

About Smith, my image is Gasol + Odom (Dirk + Smith).

I desperately want both players without losing our Core players. However... I didn't know Min spent a lot of many for his marketing... (ToT) No....

If Morrison can play like Miller, I like your scenario. But I think now DAL needs a reliable player at 2...

Thank you very very much!! JES12!!

I reconsider my scenario.^^

Ewlcome to RGM. A word of advice, post the trade on the thread you are discussing. Makes it less effort to comment if other posters can see the trade. Yes, it is lazy on my part.

I think that's why Dallas doesn't have an attractive trade tool, plus there is rumor Donnie Nelson considers 3 or 4 way trade. Dallas must include Diop becasue of Damp's contract. No one sure what happen's in Damp's last year (the team might be accused), so no one wants Damp.
Using Diop, Dallas needs to add SG to stop the smallest line up in this league. But I'm not sure there is a team wants Diop because of his recent play and his role.

I feel that nothing would happen as a result and we must see Stack at SG paying for Diop's contract...
