Over/Under: 193.5
Portland favored to win by 4.5.

A Mavericks win on Christmas would make the day.

hahahaha

I was waiting for this game thread! Awesome!

My key Matchups are:
Dampier vs. Pryzbilla
George vs. Roy
Terry vs Rudy
Howard vs all their SF's
And I kinda want to se Shawne Williams play a little on Aldridge

Oh, and Dallas needs to be all focused on this game. I don't remember Dallas beating Roy in Portland. This is a very important game.

All I want for Xmas is for Gerald Green to get meaningful minutes tonight. Is that too much to ask Santa?

I'm traveling for Christmas and am without my graphic design tools. All the graphics were pre-made so new graphics like POG wont be updated until after I get home.

Dallas Mavericks coach views Christmas Day nightcap as an honor

In the NBA, days of the week are mostly irrelevant. It’s either a game day or a non-game day. Holidays included.

For the Dallas Mavericks, today, Thursday, Christmas, is a special day, yet just another game day to start another important three-game road trip.

While your children revel in wrapping paper strewn about, the Mavs will be running morning drills at the Rose Garden in Portland. As your good tidings wind down for the night, the Mavs and Trail Blazers will just be tipping off in the last of five nationally televised games on three networks spanning morning to midnight.

It’s just the second time the Mavs have played on Christmas Day, the first coming in 2003 at Sacramento.

"I look at it as a positive now because if you’re playing on Christmas Day, you’re a good team," Mavs coach Rick Carlisle said. "They don’t schedule mediocre teams on Christmas Day. You’ve got to look at it as an honor."

Mavs owner Mark Cuban will watch from his Caribbean holiday home. A merry promoter of Christmas basketball, Cuban heartily favors showcasing the league’s best and brightest in a brunch-to-bedtime TV smorgasbord.

"From a league perspective I understand the reasons why there’s so many teams playing," said Carlisle, who kissed his wife and 4-year-old daughter goodbye before catching the team’s Christmas Eve charter. "It’s one of the most-watched days of the year for basketball. We have to be willing to do it, but when you’re the road team, it’s tough."

I never get hyped over a 4 point half time lead IN Portland.

But I dure do hope we pull it out. Dirk-Howard-Terry have 46 points, but our role players need to step up if we are to win.

What is Reggie talking about? Many teams score over 100 on us.
