Would you consider JHO and Stack? I might consider that.

I don't want either T-Mac or his confidence crisis. No thanks.

I agree but I would consider JHO and Stack, Because I think come playoff time a lineup with Kidd, Terry, TMAC, Dirk and Damp would be very dangerous.

I'd do that. I'd like it even better if it was Terry and Diop for T-Mac.

Kidd
T-Mac
Howard
Dirk
Dampier

That is a playoff contenting team that sets up nicely for 2010 with a team option on Howard.

I also like JHo's Hydro's trade of Howard-Diop because I like Terry post 2010.

Yea I like the JHO Diop for him deal. I wish this could happen but I dont really see them trading him within the divison.
As for the Terry and Diop for TMAC deal I would be more hesitant, I dont really want the Mavs trading Terry right now with how well he has been playing, and I think we are talking about this trade now or before the deadline right?
Id like a Kidd, Jet, TMAC, Dirk and Damp lineup at the end of the game. or how about a Barea, JET, Kidd, TMAC, Dirk lineup ;)
I think TMAC would settle down abit if he was on a team like the Mavericks, I know he is a 2nd option in Houston. But I think he is still near a 1st option there with him and Yao splitting, know on Dallas he could be the 2nd or even possibly a 3rd option behind the JET, I think I would do a JHO and Diop or Stack deal, and we would be more of a threat come playoff time.

Yeah, I'd do either as long as Diop is included.

I think I would do the JHO but I dont think I would do Terry, but I hear some say that McGrady is playing really bad and that JHO might even be playing too good to trade for TMAC.

But honestly what do you think the odds are that Houston trades McGrady to a divison rival?

Whatever it is, it has to involve Diop in some way.

My attempt at a deal for TMac which for us is Diop/Howard/Stackhouse/Williams for Petro/McGrady:

Best thing for Diop would be to learn from both Dikembe Mutombo and Yao Ming. His career could completely turn around.

I want no piece of T-Mac in Dallas.
a) Terry plays much better than T-mac and is much more consistant
b) T-Mac hurt way too often so he wont help us when needed
c) without Diop we are way to thin on C again. I know diop doesnt play many minutes but without him we will get killed when damp gets hurt or is on the bench. you all saw it in last years plaoffs!
all of you said we need him back and now you want to get rif of him just to get an injured t-mac

The way T-mac has been playing lately, I wouldn't give much. T-mac's confidence is at an all time low, he's injuired, and he doesn't give 100% every game. If Houston is going to trade T-mac then its probably going to be next season while he is an expiring.

All the more reason for change.

i don't understand why people want an all time playoffs loser here in Dallas.

if we get Tmac, he will play hard in some games, and then claim that he is hurt here and there, and sit and eat a lot of money forever.

i don't think a lot of guys here want Arenas in Dallas coz of his injury problem and attitude, but what is the difference between this two players???

oh i forget... at least Arenas has bigger heart to win in the playoffs than Tmac

NO WAY we want any piece of Tmac. i d rather have Iverson or Arenas than MR. Crying in the Press every year..

The way JET and TMac are playing lately, I dont even know if a straight up trade would help Dallas. Tracy is as fragile as they come and he is a curse come playoff time. I would give Stack and Diop, but Houston would laugh at that offer

To tell the truth unless it is Diop and Stack than the Mavs should not be interested. Even saying that I think the Rockets should have to add for the Mavs to take Brokemac.

To make the money work will need to include Jason Terry, Eric Dampier, or Josh Howard. Not likely we move Dirk and it's not likely Toronto wants Jason Kidd. The follow players work below, but I'm not suggestion it's how the final trade should look.

Josh Howard, DeSagana Diop and Jerry Stackhouse
Eric Dampier, DeSagana Diop and Jerry Stackhouse
Jason Terry, DeSagana Diop and Jerry Stackhouse
