A "Tower Grove" dateline??? What, is Derrick Goold hanging out at the Botanical Gardens these days?

First I've heard about Edmonds being hurt. I hope he isn't really going on the DL, but hey, it's always fun to see Skip Schumaker fail at the big-league level.

And egads, Troy Cate is going to be our starting pitcher on Wednesday. A guy who should be a relief pitcher, starting for the Cardinals. He'll fit right in...

When will Kip Wells get DFA'ed? They can't really be keeping him around for the bullpen if he is now out of the starting rotation.

What in hell does John Rodriguez have to do to get called up?

I think we all know the answer to that one. :eyebrows:

But seriously, I don't think it was too crazy that Skippy got called up and John didn't, John had been struggling and Skippy had been on fire as of late. Both about equal batting stats for the year, with Skippy being a better all around player. Although they had equal batting stats this year, I do believe John is on another level when it comes to hitting.

I also wish the Hawk would have been called up instead of Cate. But Hawk hasn't been that great lately either, it sucks for Narveson because he's injuried and now could have been his time to shine.
