Tuesday Night Game: Braden Looper vs. Woody Willams

Wednesday Night Game: Kip Wells vs. Roy Oswalt

Thursday Day Game: Joel Pineiro vs. Matt Albers

Thoughts: Hopefully we will be able to take 2 of 3 like we should.

Looper was "sooper". Shutout ball.

Rick gets three hits. Cards win the first game easily. Life is good. Back to .500.

Now all we have to do to stay there is beat Roy Oswalt aka "Cardinal Killer" tomorrow night.

And hmmm, are those the Milwaukee Brewers I see in the rearview mirror?

Yep, because Albers is a stud. This will probably come back to haunt me as he pitches a shutout against us somehow.

Well, regarding our shutout loss, at least it was a "no doubter". Let's squeak one out this afternoon.

Roy Oswalt...I hate that guy.

A win today makes it a good series for us; a loss makes it a bad one.
