The battle for first place is on!!! Should be a good early indication of how we stack up against one of our main competitors this year, the Milwaukee Brewers.

Sheets, Capuano and Suppan. Milwaukee's top three starters.

I will have to miss this epic clash for NL Central supremacy, other than what highlights I can catch on ESPN--I'm watching my son play soccer in a tournament in Kansas City all weekend.

Hope the Cardinal bats finally come back to life, and that we get some wins!

Game was rained out tonight and tomorrow's is pushed back to 6:00 Central Time. I think the make-up date for this game is July 30th when our 3-game set turns into a 4-gamer

Well, I drove down yesterday morning and was dissapointed to say the least. But I had good night in downtown St. Louis nonetheless 8) . and hopefully everything is good to go tonight. I was looking foward to seeing Reyes live but oh well. Hopefully Albert can get out of his slump and our pitching continues to roll.

GO CARDS!

Prince Albert finally goes yard a couple of times; Chris Duncan has four hits; Braden Looper pitches well again; and we beat Ben Sheets and the Brewers, 10-2 on Sunday. Life is better.
