(They're Cardinals...get it?)

Holy hand grenades, what a series!

Friday, 7:10 p.m.: Bartolo Colon [5-2, 5.44] vs. The Kipmeister [2-10, 6.40]

Saturday, 7:15 p.m.: Ervin Santana [4-6, 5.32] vs. Braden Looper [6-4, 3.72]

Sunday, 1:15 p.m.: Jered Weaver [5-3, 3.88] vs. Todd Wellemeyer [1-0, 4.11]

We are catching a bit of a break in that Los Angeles of Anaheim's top two starters so far this season (Escobar and Lackey) will not face us.

I would be thrilled with winning two out of three. Realistically, I am praying that Looper comes through on Saturday so that we don't get swept.

GO CARDINALS

KEL-LY!

STIN-NETT!

Three innings, three home runs. Nice symmetry.

Way to jinx the win mizzou.

Nothing like a good ol comeback win to make a bad night.

I thought the Birds had nailed the first game of the series as I followed the score last night. Then crapola. Cubs moved back ahead of us in the standings.

Sorry, my bad.

But Saturday was not my fault!

I hear Saturday was mizzou's fault too.

Of course Sunday was all me.
