Please bring Reyes back up....

Post#1 » by BuckFan25226 » Thu Jun 14, 2007 1:19 pm

I understand Anthony and Dave don't play well together, but we need him up here. In 3 starts in AAA he as a 1.64 ERA with 16SO. I understand he's struggled at the show this year. But he's a hell of a lot better then Wells or Wellemeyer.

We're hitting now, I would like to see what Mr. Loza Reyes can do with some decent run support. If we can get him back in the rotation pitching even somewhat effectively, that's a huge addition until Carp comes back. I would really pay to see what in the hell is being said behind closed doors in regards to Duncan and Reyes. Unless they are simply worried about his confidence with that league record 0-8 start. :nonono:

Where do I go to sign the Bring Up Reyes petition?

I'm pretty sure that if Reyes and Wells continue to pitch the way they have recently, Reyes will be brought up and Wells will be released at some point this summer.

But first we're going to have to wait and see how stubborn Dave Duncan/Tony La Russa are going to be about it.

I posted the story on a separate thread at about the same time you were posting this. Sorry. Hope this lights a fire on the Birds tail.

Should've called up Colby Rasmus and Rick Ankiel instead.

Well, we get a win after the Memphis shuffle is announced. Pitching still not great, but the bats were good.

I've got to check out Colby Rasmus and get up to speed on the Cards farm system.

Well, typical Reyes, one awful inning, solid the rest of the way. Good win and nice to win a series against an AL team for once.
