Image vs. Image

Monday: Kansas City 5, St. Louis 3

Tuesday, 7:10 p.m.: Scott Elarton vs. ... Kip Wells (NOOOOOOO)

Wednesday, 7:10 p.m.: Gil Meche vs. Brad Thompson

Well, last night was probably our most favorable pitching matchup, and we lost anyway, so that's not so good.

I can't believe Wells is getting another start. You know we're going to have to score a bunch of runs to win tonight, so it's on Skip Schumaker to have a multi-home run game.

Then he has to do it again on Wednesday when Thompson starts.

I'm guessing Kippy and Tony don't have a great relationship after tonight's late scratch of Wells.

Thank god, we went up against the worst pitcher in the game tonight in Elarton.

Good grief, who would have thunk it? But, it's baseball.

Kip Wells winds up getting the win Wednesday night after scoreless pitching in the 13th and 14th innings.

Humor is the last refuge of a scoundrel. Or something like that.
