Kennedy goes on DL, will have surgery

Maybe this helps explain why he has been so bad this year.

This could be like Isringhausen finally shutting himself down last year--the team was better off with healthy players on the field. Probably the same thing is true of Brendan Ryan and Aaron Miles. I think we'll actually be a little bit better with the ineffectual Kennedy officially out of commission.

OMG who's going to bat 9th now, good thing we still have Miles and Ryan for that.

Just think, instead of spending that money to get Kennedy we could have got Rick Porcello, yay! But really, damn what a terrible signing, like I've been saying for a while theres no point in signing replacement level players for more than the mininum, oh well. Hopefully Kennedy comes back next year and becomes Utley. But most likely scenerio Jarrett Hoffpauir will be our starting 2nd basemen next year, okay enough rambling out of me, for now.
