Tuesday, 7:10: Daniel Barone [0-1, 6.23] vs. Adam Wainwright [11-9, 4.01]

Wednesday, 7:10: Scott Olsen [9-10, 5.25] vs. Braden Looper [10-10, 4.98]

Thursday, 7:10: Rick VandenHurk [3-4, 7.36] vs. Anthony Reyes [2-12, 5.61]

Well for once the pitching matchups might actually favor the Cardinals. Plus the Marlins don't have much to play for. Plus we are at home.

Looks like a good opportunity to keep the pressure on the Cubs and Brewers.

Come on, Marlins baserunners, PLEASE try to take that extra base on Rick Ankiel. There aren't too many things in baseball more fun than watching an outfielder with a cannon-like arm.

After a little scare, it looks like we are going to pull through with the win.

Wednesday brings a second win in the series. Albert hits another one! Good win. Could have a chance to gain some ground on the Brewers and Cubs who are playing late on the west coast.

Next game for Reyes, no matter the situation. I would like to see Yadi, Rolen, Eck, Ryan, Pujols in the infield. Ludwick, Edmonds, Ankiel in the outfield.

Rolen boots a groundball from the pitcher, then Reyes walks Ramirez. Uggla hits a deep fly ball which should of been caught by happy feet out in left. Then he gets Miggy to fly out which I THOUGHT was huge, then he strikes out Jacobs which I was going nuts about. Then Willingham has a great at bat and fought off some great pitches to make a 3-2, Anthony leaves on up.

I'm not sure why I'm explaining this to any of you, I'm sure saw it. Just venting.

Reyes is sure having a tough year.

Next season can't help but be better for him. I'm optimistic again that he'll eventually be a pretty good middle-of-the-rotation starter for us.
