Hudson may not play much this series with a torn ligament in his thumb.

You know if you guys ever plan on playing Quentin again?

Also damn I wish the Cards would push Wainwright and Looper back a game each, because I have a feeling Webb is going to shut us down like he does every other team.

Doubt it. They've basically all but forced him out of AZ with the Byrnes signing. Salazar and Upton are the only ones you will probably see this weekend in RF.

Ojeda, Callaspo or Bonifacio will either play 2nd base for the D'Backs in a couple or all games. I'd like to see Bonifacio, fastest guy in our system, faster than Upton and Upton can FLY. Really raw, though. Callaspo was the 2006 PCL hitting champ last year, IIRC.

Good luck, though. I'm hoping Webby can get back on track.

Hudson: out until atleast Sunday. Will be re evaluated, and they will determine whether he can play it out or have season ending surgery. Ouch

Yeah, the Cards have been through that enough this year. Callaspo is pretty good though, he just hasn't done good in the bigs yet for some reason, if given the opportunity I think Callaspo could put up a .825 OPS.

wow, a man on 3rd 1 out and we cant come through. situations like that with first place on the line, that can **** up the rest of the season, how disappointing.

Yep. I stayed up and followed the last few innings on line. Disappointing for sure. Need to win the close ones.
