Duncan likely out for season

Post#1 » by bigboy1234 » Mon Sep 10, 2007 7:48 am

Returning to St. Louis to be examined for severe sports hernia, and surgery (now) a strong consideration.

Looks like he could be done for the season.

Watching the games over the weekend it's obvious young Dunc was in agony.

Wow, can a team seriously have this many injuries in one year.

Well there were rumors that he was playing hurt and he sure has been awful for the last six weeks, so I guess it's no big surprise. It's actually a bit of a relief. I was hoping he's a lot more like the guy we saw last year and the first half of this one than the guy we've been seeing lately.

Keeping score at home, from what was supposed to be our starting nine at the beginning of the season we've now lost five guys completely (Duncan, Encarnacion, Rolen, Kennedy, Carpenter). Edmonds, Molina, and Eckstein have missed big chunks of the season. And Pujols is playing on one leg.

Good thing Skip Schumaker is around to keep us in the race.
