Monday, 7:05: Adam Wainwright [13-11, 3.60] vs. Dave Bush [11-10, 5.20]

Tuesday, 7:05: Braden Looper [12-11, 4.67] vs. Jeff Suppan [10-12, 4.72]

Wednesday, 7:05: Joel Pineiro [5-4, 4.53] vs. Carlos Villanueva [8-4, 3.97]

The Brewers pretty much need to sweep us in order to give themselves a shot at winning the Central.

I don't think they can do it.

I'm still watching the Cardinals because: (1) I like Waino (2) I want to like Ankiel (3) I want to see Hombre get RBI #100 and (4) I'm curious as to whether LaRussa will tackle Brendan Ryan and make him need ACL surgery. Oh, and also because this is the last week I'll get to watch the Cardinals for the next six months.

Hey, he's still rocking the below-4.00 ERA. But last night he was about as much fun as a poke in the eye from a sharp stick.

Is Prince Fielder an **** or what? Geez, the guy is in a pennant race and all he can talk about is showing up his Dad.

It might sound selfish, but he hates his dad so much that it's one of his goals to eclipse him. He still wants to win obviously.

This may be the first time ever I had to root for the Cardinals.
I feel so dirty.

Well this is the first time in a while I'm rooting against the Cardinals. Reason being we always make the playoffs and now that we are not going to I want a better draft pick. Damn Brewers can't even beat this team, just letting the Cubs win the division. :nonono:

Pujols and Ted Williams, the seven-time 100 RBI men. Only two guys to get at least 100 in each of their first seven seasons.

Also, Al Hrabosky and company need some time off. The Brewers are in the last week of a pennant race, they're down a run in the eighth inning...call me crazy, but I don't think they are trying to hit Pujols on purpose.

Fortunately for our TV broadcast crew, they are about to get a lot of time off.

Oh, they were trying to hit Pujols, ask any Brewer fan. It just so happens Yost is an idiot and should have saved his "revenge" for next year. Theres a reason why McClung was in to face Pujols and not, say, someone good.
