It looks like we won't make any major moves, at least yet. Maybe we will trade one of our extra OFers for something. Just some small signings. I hope we bring up a 3B from the minors, we have a few good ones. See how they are while Glaus is out after his should surgery. I would also like to see Rasmus a little bit. I guess the biggest question is if the youngsters can play well in the bullpen and we can find a real closer.

What do you guys think is going on? We don't sign Miles and then release Kennedy? Not that I am upset Kennedy never panned out any way but what are we going to do.

I have heard Schumaker may be converted to 2B b/c he played there in the minors, but I don't think Brendan Ryan gets the nod b/c Larussa hates him and we know how he plays favorites (why else would Duncan make the roster).

I am hoping and praying we go after O-dog but wouldn't mind seeing Wiggington. He hit like 25 HR last season and didn't play until after the allstar break. also, he can plays 3B, 1B, and OF. that way we can finally release Duncan!!!

Oh yea.... Heard a rumor Carpenter was moving to Closer for a year to strengthen arm and stay healthy?

I hope Skip and pull it off. We'll see about Carpenter, I trust Duncan. I don't want them to put him there just b/c we don't have a proven closer, but I don't think that'll happen. And they must have confident that one of the youngsters will pull through and be the closer since they didn't pick up a closer (hopefully they just weren't being really cheap). I hope Carp starts and does well, but I don't want to make the injury any worse. 2 healthy aces in Carp and Waino would be awesome.
