Selvie scares the hell outta me. I'd forgotten that Ben Moffitt existed but he's had a couple huge games this year and he'd be the best LB on Oregon without a doubt.

Here's to an exciting bowl game.

Ducks smoke USF.....56-21......ouch.

Their O-line was dominant, and Stewart took advantage.

USF never figured out that mis-direction hand off.

Roper played very well.

Grothe was a one man team, tried to do too much, and his arm was exposed against a fast secondary. He was lucky there weren't 5 picks today.

USF isn't this bad.

I watched USF-WVU, so I know what we saw wasn't USF at its highest gear.

Hope Grothe's OK. He really took a shot from Agyeman.

Linebacker Ben Moffitt has an angry wife.

She says he abandoned his family and that she did some of his school work. Ouch.

Here's the link.

Wow. That's almost disturbing if it's true.

I hope he atones for his mistakes in some way, because he's evidently made some.

It was a shocker to say the least.

His attorney described her allegations as hearsay.

Hmmmm............

Her attorney stated that it was common knowledge among players and a GA that she was doing some of his schoolwork.

She said he can't spell!

This will get very ugly.

Bulls lose to Pitt at home.

Pitt is very, very physical and just plain good.

Bulls kept it competitive until Pitt just overpowered them in the 2nd half.

Craig, I found this quote from Oregon OT Geoff Schwartz about the Sun Bowl that's pretty perplexing. He's doing a running diary on the East-West Shrine Game (which he'll play in) and met up with a couple USF players there:

One last comment: I spoke with a defensive tackle and a cornerback from South Florida and both said that we ran plays that they had not prepared for, which is very odd because we ran the same run play over and over again. That

Not really surprising. Disappointing though.

Leavitt and his staff have been a touch over rated in their success.

Thanks for the tidbit.

Bulls out manned by WVU yesterday....69-52.

Bulls lack talent. Should be another long year in the Big East.

Is Leavitt pushing his luck by signing so many JC's?

Looks like 4-5 are committed for 2008.

Bulls get an away game with Notre Dame in 2011.

Ball State is also scheduled for a home and home series in 2009-10. Can do this, but not a UCF home and home? Silly.

University takes admissions out of athletic departments hands.

Less than half the football and basketball players are on track to graduate. 11 out of 18 football recruits last year were granted admission exceptions.

The complaints have been many about the recruiting practices at USF.

Leavitt is soon to have a new contract which has recently been altered, as his buyout would be reduced in the first year should he leave. The new contract has yet to be signed.

Could the only coach in USF history now be having thoughts down the road of moving on?
