A true steal. The MLBPA is pissed at Longoria, fearing that this will lead to young players signing reasonable deals & then complaining come their break out years. I think it's a great move & I hope to see more of them.

Enough with these $100 million bloated contracts.

Congrats on the great deal, TB. I only wish the Brewers had gotten Braun locked into that kind of deal last season around this time.

I do think this sets a nice precedent for small market teams. Not every major stud prospect will chose to go for the security of a long term deal, but there'll certainly be more now that Longoria has done it.
