The Rays announced before Friday's game Casey Fossum has been moved to the bullpen, and said they will have more to say on other moves after the game. They are expected to call up Andy Sonnanstine and J.P. Howell to join the rotation are likely will dump Jae Seo.

However, not Howell. I'm a documented fan and I can see why they want a lefty. But Hammel's won it fair and square, so give it to him.

Either way, HOORAYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is great news.

It's about time.

It's really hard to put any streak together (other than a losing streak) when 3 starters are hovering around the 8.00 ERA mark.

There is a reason that their ERA's are so high.

I'm glad that Jackson's still allowed to troop on for a bit until he fails beyodn repair. There's something there with him. When you can throw 99 and move it that much, you're worth flogging to death.

Is it true that Stokes can'tbe optioned? If so, that would explain a lot as to why he's still here. However, if his debut was last year, why is this the case?
