Good start with the 8-6 win over NYY last night.

Schedule is brutal most of the month (like Boston's)

Hellickson on the mound today.

I am a bit concerned about him, as he struggled some in the exhibition season.

Great start today from Hellickson. A little concerned about his pitching today despite the results. Too many balls thrown, and a lot of balls were hit too hard for comfort.

Good start to the season. Going to be a tough series with the Tigers up next.

Moore pitched just under 7 innings and allowed only 2 runs, not bad.

We take Moore out of the game and allow 3 more runs. :sigh: lol.

Rays lose 5-2.

Well, 161-1 isn't too bad. :D

Bullpen let it get away.

Couldn't see nor hear the game, but Moore's stat line was decent

Boy how our expectations change after one loss.

I guess 161-1 isn't that bad.....

Longoria is clutch! down 2-1 in the 9th, he hit a ground single towards 3rd base and drives in Jennings from 2nd. game tied 2-2 with 2 men on, 1 out.

Also, a wild pitch walk to Carlos Pena is what gave us our first run in the 9th.

Zobi hits a single, Rays lead 4-2.

And, the inning isn't even over yet!

Caught up with the game at 2-2.

Great comeback when it looked bleak going into the ninth (Verlander 8 IP and only 81 pitches).

The true identity of these Rays for the past 3 years under Maddon is that of the "comeback kids"

Phenomenal grind-it-out spirit.

Credit goes to the skipper

Yup, Maddon has to be the best one out there. at least top 3.
